Our Commitment to Safety
WeVol is a community platform designed to connect volunteers, neighbors, and organizations in the Lake Charles area. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or any content that endangers minors.
Minimum Age Requirement
WeVol is not directed to, nor intentionally collects information from, anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly accept registrations from minors under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has registered, we will promptly delete the account and all associated data.

Users are strictly prohibited from posting, sharing, or soliciting any content that:
-
Sexualizes or exploits minors in any way, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
-
Grooms, solicits, or attempts to contact minors for sexual or exploitative purposes.
-
Depicts, promotes, or encourages the abuse or exploitation of children.
-
Violates any applicable child protection laws, including trafficking or endangerment.
-

Content Moderation
WeVol moderates user-generated content to maintain community standards. Our approach includes:
-
In-app reporting
— any user can flag a post for review by our moderation team.
-
Admin review
— flagged content is reviewed and may be removed.
-
Account removal
— users found violating these standards are permanently banned.
-
User blocking
— users can block others from interacting with them.
Reporting and Escalation
We take all reports of child safety violations seriously. Reports can be submitted in two ways:
-
In-app report
— use the report option on any post or user to flag it for moderation.
-
Direct contact
— email
hiwevol@gmail.com
or call

for urgent reports.
We commit to reviewing and acting on credible reports of child safety violations within 24 hours of receipt, including removing the content and the responsible account where appropriate.
